ROLLIN’ AND ROCKIN’

4PM
ROLLIN’ - FREE!

Meet behind the Walgreens on Geary between 42nd and 43rd Avenue, San Francisco.

No registration, just show up with your van.

Come cruise across the city with us, easy drive from Ocean beach to Thee Parkside.

VANNERS... It doesn’t matter if your van is a rust bucket or needs work. This cruise is about the van community and just rollin’ in your van along with a bunch of other vans... so no worries if you don’t have some slick show-n-shine shit, just BE THERE.

Cruise will be through Golden Gate park, Haight, Castro and Mission neighborhoods, ending at Thee Parkside.

This is slow roll to show off our van convoy.

There will be some motorcyclists along for the ride to block open a few stop signs for us so we can stick together as much as possible. However, we will be driving through the city and there will be stoplights that hang up the caravan. We have set a few catch-up sections where our lead vanner will wait for others so we can regroup. No stress if the line of vans breaks up here and there. Just roll with it and have FUN.

We will hand out printed directions/map before we roll.

HORNSS (Headliners)

“In the tradition of early Sabbath, Hornss takes thick, heavy riffs and driving rhythmic structures for a psychedelic ride. They deliver a blistering live set that doesn’t disappoint and remain true to the art of original hard rock, pure and powerful.”

HOT LUNCH
“Gritty blues-rock that keeps the tempo driving hard and heavy with generous helpings of amplified tin sludge and plenty of wailing six-string digressions that could have easily been plucked out of the burgeoning hard rock scene of the late ’60s and early ’70s, competing for decibels with the likes of Blue Cheer and the MC5.”

PUSHY
“Good time rock and roll for river doggin’, hot doggin, grillin, chillin, bangin, chooglin, booglin, makin out, hangin out, catchin trout. Influenced by beers, Billy Gibbons, Peter Green, Joe Walsh, Mexican food, beer, crappy jobs, exhaustion, Albert King, Muddy Waters, muddy boots, shitty cars, dirt, scabs, girls, loudness, and camping.”

WAR CLOUD
“Drawing from all eras of rock, bringing Lizzy-like twin guitar leads, driving Motörhead rhythms, and bellowing Pentagram vocals, Oakland’s War Cloud epitomizes everything that made and makes hard rock great.”

3 STONED WOMEN (opening band)
Channeling defunct SF band, the Three Stoned Men, this all-chick tribute to smokin’ weed keeps TSM classics like “Too Lazy to Pee” and “Finger Fucking Time” alive, as well as rockin’ their own salutes to being hiiiiiiiiigh.
